NCC Dixie Erica 729

NCC Dixie Erica 729 is a moderate, practical cow we were fortunate to acquire from the Neimann Cattle Company Dispersion. She traces to Emulation N Bar 5522 and Sinclair Emulation XXP on the top side and is anchored on the bottom by the elite OCC Dixie Erica cow family, including OCC Focus 813F, OCC Paxton 730P, and OCC Discovery 918D. N Bar Emulation EXT appears four times in her immediate pedigree, yet she is quiet, easy to handle, and extremely easy fleshing, maintaining condition with minimal inputs. This is a cow built for real-world performance and longevity. We will continue to pull flushes on Dixie Erica 729 to bring her genetics forward strongly in our program for many years to come, making her a cornerstone female for both registered and commercial operations.

Spring Forever Blaze 900

Spring Forever Blaze 900 is a very practical, maternal cow backed by cattle like Larsen Confidence 220N, Redland Emblazon 2021, and Basin Payweight 1682. Her dam, Med Rock Forever Weight 536, was also an exceptional cow in our herd and is still greatly missed today.
Spring Forever Blaze 900 is consistently one of the earliest shedding cows in the herd every spring, and her progeny have proven to carry that same trait. They tend to carry a heavier natural oil coat and seem to handle fly pressure better than many of the cattle around them.
She is a feminine-fronted, moderate-framed, easy-fleshing cow with excellent feet, a near-perfect udder and teat structure, and the kind of disposition and consistency we value highly. Most importantly, she simply stays productive and continues to raise quality progeny year after year within a strict 45-day breeding season.
She is the kind of cow that quietly never misses and has earned a place in our donor program moving forward.

O C C Blackbird 3028

Few cows in the Angus breed embody the depth of proven maternal genetics found in O C C Blackbird 3028. Her pedigree represents a living history of the legendary OCC breeding program, combining influential sires such as OCC Headliner 661H, OCC Prestige 672P, OCC Great Plains 943G, and N Bar Emulation EXT, while tracing through generations of elite Blackbird and Dixie Erica females. She is also a maternal sister to the renowned OCC Paxton, with both descending from the exceptional donor OCC Blackbird 736K, one of the most influential females ever produced by the OCC program. In addition, 3028 is a flush sister to NCC Prestige 317, owned by Coleman Angus, as well as the influential sire NCC Prestigious.
Selected from the Neiman dispersal in the fall of 2021, 3028 quickly established herself as a cornerstone female within our operation. Now 13 years of age, she continues to exemplify the traits that have made the OCC cow families so highly respected throughout the beef industry. A moderate, four-frame female weighing approximately 1,350 pounds, she combines efficiency, structural integrity, and maternal excellence in a package that remains remarkably functional and productive.
3028 possesses exceptional foot quality, remaining nearly flawless in her structure and movement. Equally impressive is the udder she carries today, with outstanding teat size and placement that rival females half her age. She is the type of cow that thrives under practical ranch conditions, easy-fleshing, low-maintenance, and capable of maintaining condition through challenging environments and weather conditions.
In an era where increased frame size and greater nutritional requirements have become increasingly common within the Angus breed, 3028 offers a valuable genetic counterbalance. She consistently transmits moderation, fleshing ability, maternal strength, and genuine biological efficiency while maintaining the performance and functionality demanded by commercial cattlemen. Her influence has demonstrated the ability to bring practical, profit-driven traits back into a herd in a single generation.
The impact of 3028 is already becoming evident throughout our breeding program. Her progeny are rapidly establishing themselves as key contributors within Spring Angus, and her son, Spring Rearview 532, is positioned to become a major breeding influence within our herd for years to come.
Today, 3028 resides at Boyle Angus, where she remains an active donor female. Through her sons, daughters, and embryos already working throughout our program, we are confident that her influence will continue to shape the future of our herd and preserve the kind of maternal excellence, longevity, and efficiency that have defined the OCC legacy for generations.
